Frank Vincent Zappa (Dec 21, 1940 – Dec 4, 1993) was an American musician, songwriter, composer, record producer, and filmmaker. His career spanned more than 30 years during that time he composed a wide variety of rock, jazz, orchestral and a genre known as 'musique concrete' (electroacoustic music).
Frank's taste in music came from a liking of 20th century classical composers (Varese, Stravinsky and Webern) Blues and 1950s R&B. He began writing his own classical music in high school, and playing drums in R&B bands - before taking up the electric guitar. Shop music legend Frank Zappa Tees.
