Isaac Hayes American soul singer, actor and producer. He was a creative force behind Stax Records both as an in-house songwriter, session musician and producer. As well as being a soul legend in his own right.
Hayes along with David Porter wrote the hit song 'Soul Man'. But he is probably best known for the musical score for the cult movie 'Shaft'.

Many celebrities including Isaac Hayes, Muhammad Ali and Bob Dylan (who wrote a song called Hurricane about the boxer) all got together to try get his sentence overturned.
