Mikell's T-Shirt. Vintage T-Shirt celebrating the New York Jazz Club that was run by Mike & Pat Mikell from 1969 to 1991, the club sat on the corner of 97th Street and Columbus Ave. Mikell's was a favorite haunt of musicians like Art Blakey, Roy Ayres & Wynton Marsalis.
The band Stuff formed in 1974 and played at Mikell's three nights a week until 1980, with jam sessions taking place with visiting stars like Stevie Wonder & Joe Cocker (Who famously wore his "Stuff T-Shirt" along with John Belushi on Saturday Night Live).
Paul Shaffer The Late Show's band leader called Mikell's "Soul Heaven".
