1960s prolific illustrator and graphic designer

American artist John Van Hamersveld made a name for himself in the 1960s as a prolific illustrator and graphic designer. JVH created the artwork for more than 300 albums, including work for bands like The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Van Hamersveld also created the official poster for the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. But of all his work over the years, JVH's best known and most loved is his poster for the surf documentary, The Endless Summer.
