Elvis Presley UT Memphis T-Shirt

Elvis Presley’s University of Tennessee shirt. Growing up in Memphis Elvis was introduced to jazz & blues music while hanging out on Beale Street, that is where his career began and what sparked his original and controversial (for his time) style. He wore this shirt in the 1969 film “Change of Habit.” In this movie starring the King himself and Mary Tyler Moore, Elvis plays a young doctor who runs an inner city clinic. One tagline for this film read, “When the King of Rock Meets the Queen of Comedy, Romance Rules.”
